Salam readers. I have decided to update this blog since I believe it is being abandon for a very long time. Its 2010 people! Meaning we have a new set of dancers n_n I am not pretty sure about the total dancers but I know it is somewhere around 15+? Isn't it? This year sure does have a lot of dancers. That is a good thing.

Today is the 17th of April which marked our Speech Day 2010. The juniors plus some of the seniors perform a contemporary dance. The choreography is nice ^.^ I have been wanting to dance contemporary but never had a change T_T It is their first time though. But, I believe they will work hard to be come even better. It was all good, but I know they can do better. Yes! Remember: One should not be complacent to be a better person. Always take critiques in a positive way. That is the only way you can be better. I hope this words does ring a bell to you :D In other word, continue to work hard to succeed better results. However, good job guys!

Now, let me update the schedule. The next performance is the event "Under the Stars". 2 items will be performed. The contemporary and zapin. It is on Friday, 23rd April. After school ended on Friday, you can go home to bath, have lunch, watch drama or etc. The time has not been confirm. But I think we may need to report at around 3:30pm. MAYBE! I will update you guys on this again. There will be rehearsal on this Monday (19 Apr) and Wednesday (21 Apr). So please, do not absent yourself. After this event, the seniors would stand down T_T But those who are interested in joining Fiestari you are mostly welcome! Do tell C.Rizwan if you are interested. Practice would probably be once a week and that would be on Wednesday. The next event for the rest is the "Zapin Asyik at Muara". It is a World Guinness Record thing. You will all learn a simple zapin dance from C.Badar. He will take over C.Rizwan when he go for his honeymoon n_n. On that event, they also would want 1 dance items which probably would be the Zapin without the seniors version. Then it would be Fiestari and then YOG performance.

That is all that I know for now. If any of you wish to post on this blog, kindly ask me for the mail and password. For the newcomers, I would like to tell you the stuff we always bring when we have a performance so that you guys would not be confuse :)

Hey Dancers !

I swear that i'm bored right now but i just plain lazy to update my blog . Instead I update this blog . Anyway it doesn't matter if this blog is updated or not because people just know care about it . Okey , Yesterday had practice . Continue with the zapin dance however yesterday practice was so (insert word) . Everyone's seems tired which include those that didn't fast . For this time , none of our left side ass was pain but mine left side hip was in pain . Not forgetting Cikgu Rizwan was crazy . Dancers were tired and he still got the energy to make jokes and stuff . Yuh , i was called a minah rep during the practice just because i'm wearing a super-tight trackpants . So , please learn a lesson dancers , don't forget to bring your dance attire during practice because it will make others suffer . So there's no practice this friday . Practice resumes on next wednesday from 2.30-4.30 p.m .

HEYLO DANCERS !

It's been awhile since this blog is updated . Since I have the time , I'm kind enough to spend my time to make this blog alive ! Today is the third of Ramadhan which means we have been fasting for three days but atleast not for me(Faham-faham je luh) and twenty-six more days to go . Sorie to dancers because i'm unable to follow you guys go terawih today . Next time maybe ?

The secondary 4 dancers will joining us for the zapin dance . Which means they will dance two items while we, the juniors will dance 3 items . Must be tiring huh ? For the sec 4 dancers , be prepare to get your left side ass all the way down pain . That's what me , esty and fatin get the next day after malay dance prac. Just a reminder , there will be practice on this wednesday . Practice will start at 2.30 and end at 4.30 . PLEASE BE PUNCTUAL !

End of-year will be starting in 1 months time and now i'm kanchong already unlike the rest of my friends . Kalah kau budak yang amek National exams . haha . And i really need someone to accompany me go study . Anyone wanna go study with me ? Okey2 . Good luck to our seniors that taking their national exams . Belajar rajin-rajin tau . Haha . As you can see, we have been very busy nowadays with performances. Akar Mekar is over, SYF is over, Asian Youth Games performance is over, school national day celebration is also over. Sadly, the performance in school for national day is the last one for all the senior *cries* I know its sad. Now, the seniors will be off for a holidays. NOT! Haha! Okay, the seniors will be busy with their prelims and their upcoming major national exams. We would like to wish them luck. Its weird saying this myself. Haha! I am going to update this blog as it is clearly going to be label dead. So better not, I should be rajin and update. Haha. Btw, hari ini sejuk ehh. Brrrr.. Okay tomorrow as stated there is Speech Day Full Dress Rehearsal. We are just going to wear the kain and bengkung. Remember to be in school at 8am. As the thing will be starting at 9am. We then have to get ready semua. And tomorrow venue is at AVA room. So please don't go to the hall and lost -______- Haha XD

As you all know after Speech Day itself we are going bowling right. Is everyone going? I'll be updating this dead blog . It's been dead for a long time and it's time to be alive . K that was lame . Ouh ya , remember the promises that were made before our SYF ? Yupyup i think you do . AND guess what , we are going to Jogjakarta . Wohoo . It will be a fun want i tell you . And we will be going on 22nd may . Must be at the airport by 8am sharp . Bring along whatever that is required . Even tons and tons of clothing . As what that we had been told just now , we can choose our own roommates . So go choose now before it's gone .

Do remember to bring all the necessary details that should be given to me days before . Die die must bring by tomorrow and please be reminded that there will be a short meeting on this saturday , 23rd May in school at 2pm . Do come with your parents . SYF 09' - GOLD(:

The resutls are out. Hillgrove Secondary received a GOLD award! Yay! I know, its really unexpected. I did not hope for it too. To me, a silver will be good enough. But, it seems that we achieve higher than our aim. That's good. We should keep it up. We should be proud, as we are the first batch to have gotten a GOLD award in Malay Dance and Hillgrove. Well, this wouldn't happen without the help of our beloved teachers. Cikgu Rizwan, by helping us out with the step. Making our the dance the most unique dance and never done before. Giving us motivation and being the best instructor anyone could have. I think without him, we woul reach this kind of standard. He let us have a lot of experience in dancing. By joining Fiestari 08', eventhough we lost. And also, SYF showcase. It does helps a lot. Then there's this two teachers who is always there for us. Cikgu Zurainy and Cikgu Azila. Both of them are like our own mothers. They support us in anyway, and they also scold us like their own child. But, we know deep down they love us and we love them too(: With these two Cikgus who also there to listen to our rants and complain. They also always want the best for us(: Without these 3 teacher, we won't be receiving this kind of rest. Therefore, a million thank you to you 3 teacher(: We are sorry, if we are always being the pain in the ass. Well, we are student. Haha. But, we love the 3 of you very much. And we know you do too(: Thanks for all the motivation and support. From Bronze to Gold is a very big different! So, here come Jogjakarta as promise(: Yay! We will always be hard-working.

Now, we just want to wish the best for the Choirs and Modern Dancers. Just do your best. Show your passion in it(: Its not about putting your everything, but its about the passion(: Ganbatte! I know you people can do too(:

HELLO!

I think that the Malay Dance blog need some updates on our upcoming event. It seems it has died recently. Haha. Kidding. So, tomorrow is the day. Is the day we have been practicing so hard for these few months. Is the day where we have to do our best. Is the day there is only one time of doing it. Tomorrow, is our Malay Dance SYF competition. I know for some of you, there will be butterfly lingering in your stomach. But, its okay. Who doesn't? Haha. So, tomorrow. You people are going to be dismissed at 9:00am. Don't be late. Then we will do some last practice. Then we will start to do the make-up. Ganbatte okay people! On the day itself, just dance with sincerity. That is the important thing, sincerity. Quoted by Cikgu Osman yesterday. Now, we will just leave it to fate. Whether its Bronze, Silver or Gold. Just have fun dancing.

Hello people! Okay, I am VERY free so that's why I'm updating this blog -.-' Eventhough i said i was going on a hiatus. Haha. Okay, so. Today there was dance practice right? C.Rizwan said we did better than the previous practice. We have to REALLY brush up. We really have to try our best for it. Seriously. We have to be grateful to the teachers that always have hopes for us. We have to show them that we can do it! Jiayou! In 2 months time SYF is going to start. The date for our perfomance is around 6 to 8 of April. So people! Jiayou. On 15 of March, we will be having our rehearsal at UCC? Idk what's the place it. I forgot about it. Sorry. Eventhough C.Rizwan won't be coming as he has his reservist. But, he said if on Friday he can take half day he will come. Saturday, there will be dace too. Cikgu will be coming. Only on Wednesday C.Rizwan won't be there. What we need to do it brush up on the SYF steps and the Fiestari dance. The performance will be on the 15th of February at Hong Kah CC. If I'm not wrong. Its me Aishah here(: Okay, so. Ingat people next Friday on the 23rd will be your performance for CNY at our school. Will be doing it twice. For the upper sec and lower sec. Will be performing the joget payung. If I'm not wrong there's only 6 dancers right? So people do you best aite(: Okay, the next performance will be a CNY performance also. But, its an outside event. At Hong Kah CC if I'm not wrong. Will be using the Fiestari 2008 dance. So gambatte people!(: I think so far thats all. For now. As Ikaa mention, Commont Test in on Febuary. I know its to early to tell you people to mug. But, just do your best in this two things. CCA and also you studies okay(: For the Sec 4, better mug giler rabaks. Haha. Its because your freaking 'O's and 'N's is coming =.=' And for SYF dance. Please get the step. Eventhough is kindda catchy. Like C.Rizwan said. We just get the step. Then beat he will consider. Okay? Let's do our super giler rabaks BEST for SYF(: Just do our best. But, don't put our hopes too high(: Just do our best(: Okay!

And people, I want you people to consider. Nak beli bakul new or not? The good thing about buying a new one is that. If we buy a new one. The one we have currently with us, we can use it for practice. We can also use it until darh teruk =.=' Then we can get used to it. If we are not buying the new one. The small one will be used for practice. I am scared if we use the small one we won't get use to it. As you people know that, the one we have now. Is very big and heavy. Dari pakai the small, its better we get use to it? Betul tkk? The bad or not so good things is that. You people have to fork out $20. Since, economy merosot =.=' Susah want to cari duit right? People work pon, salary not much =.=' Then the thing is, the bakul can't hold my weight. That's why. Because some of the steps we need to sit on the bakul and so on. I haven't try to sit on it yet. Hello. Dancers ! Ikaa here. I have few announcement to make (: You guys know that Chinese New Year Concert is getting nearer nearer right. & we have to dance 'Joget Payung'. Seriouly, I cant recalled the steps. My goodness ! I thought of dancing Fiestari dance. How about that ? The dance steps are still fresh in mind i guess. But we need to talk & convince to Mdm Zurainy & Ms Azila. Amacam ? haha .

The next thing is SYF ! Omg. Common Test One is on February 27. I hope that you guys would study hard & prac hard at the same time ey. CCAs stand down is on April. So, the seniors including me get to participate in SYF. AMIN .. Nuurainy or Ani or Anee will take over this performing arts group. Doa-doakan semoga penari-penari akan berjaya (:

Secondly, we have a NEW place just for us ! Whee ~ Happy tak ? Usually its quite difficult to get place for prac. But now dont worry, be happy. Our new place is at Level 3. Although there's no air-con, we have fans (: Aishah, can donate fans ? Hahah. Btw, all the things would be placed at this weird classroom. & the Malay classroom will be decorated & we can use it for any event such as to make-up & held meetings there. Cool ey ^^

Lastly, Mdm Zurainy decided & asked for opinion if those who are involved in Puisi Artistik last year( Mat Jenin) are interested to participate a National Competition. Pasal Bace Puisi. I dont know what it is called. March 6 is the date of the competition, i guess. Dancers , how ? Lets make our school proud & show to our new principal that a small performing arts group can achieve glory like the other BIG cca group (: Omg, im excited lahhh (:

Okay, people. I was told just now by Mdm Zurainny that there won't be any malay dance for tomorrow. Cikgu have to go for SYF briefing. Please spread the message eh eventhough I know most of you knew about it already(: Haha. Ohh and btw. Can you people look for me during assemby time at Parade Square early in the morning? For lower sec only. I need your particulars. For the upper sec meet me during recess. You know my place knn? The first table in canteen(: I need all your particulars. And please remember your hp number. Don't be like me =.=' Haha. On Thurs. Cikgu need people to help her with the CCA booth. Please come. Idk what time. You may ask any of them. Most of the Sec 4s can't come. The express have the Singapore Poly thingy. While I have "Something" to do. Haha. On Friday, the CCA booth will be at 2:30pm. ALL DANCERS OR NOT DANCING MUST COME! Don't care whether you ain't dancing or not. Even the guys too. For thoose not dancing we will be preparing the booth and asking Sec 1s to sign up. For the one performing, you people will be practicing. Okay! Good luck ehh dancers(: I will come and support. LOL =.='

Haha. For dancers. Please bring this following item: Conceler (if you have), foundation (MUST!), powder, make up (if you have), hairspray (terpulang), black rubber band, towel (MUST!), facial wash (you don't want going home looking like that right =.='), tissues (lots of it), HAIR PINS!! Hello people! I know this blog is still new and no one really know about it yet. But, I did sent some tag at your blog tagboard. So, today is Teppei Koike's 23rd Birthday. Omedetou gozaimas.
